Epic confirms a new Fortnite event that will introduce player-made skins

We are going to have a very interesting event, but we will have to wait a lot for it.

Epic on its official blog has published information about an “unannounced” event in which two skins created entirely by the community will be introduced to Fortnite. How does it work?

The players are to publish their concepts on Instagram and Twitter under a special hashtag. Epic will then contact the lucky two and their skins will end up in the game.

Post your original concept to Twitter or Instagram using the #ConceptRoyaleContest hashtag. The top two (2) entrants will have their concepts turned into in-game Outfits in Fortnite, and will also each receive a $2,500 cash prize.

When will these skins be added?

Unfortunately, we are not talking about the next event here, only the winter one. Both skins will officially debut in December 2021, during a winter Fortnite event that has not yet been announced.

The whole event will last until July 11, so there is a long time to wait. From that date, Epic will be reviewing all Entries and then reworking two of them into Skins. After the concepts posted on Twitter, you can see that the potential is there, and only one day has passed.

Now all that remains is to wait. At least Epic is known to be planning something for the upcoming winter.
