Apex Legends devs plan to release a mobile version of their game. What is known about it?

The first information about the new mobile game from Respawn Entertainment is finally out.

When Apex Legends appeared on the market in 2019, the game almost immediately became a hit among battle royale titles. Although the popularity of this genre is not as great as it was 2 years ago, well-known titles such as Fortnite, PUBG or just Apex are still doing very well.

Game producers are also aware of the huge market share of mobile games and two of the games mentioned are also available on portable devices. The creators of Apex Legends have announced that their production will also be available on phones soon.

What is known about Apex Legends Mobile?

The game director – Char Grenier – announced the start of beta testing of the mobile version of Apex legends.

This is a huge moment for our team. Two years ago we changed the landscape of the battle royale genre, and now we’re aiming to do it again on mobile.

Apex Legends Mobile is specially designed for touchscreens, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that result in the most advanced battle royale combat available on a phone.

It’s a new version of Apex Legends, but it’s true to the original.

What is worth knowing about the upcoming production for mobile devices? First of all, its beta tests will begin at the end of this month. Only players from India and the Philippines, whose mobile games market is more extensive than the computer games market, will be able to take part in them. In the coming months, the developers want to make the game available to other regions.

Apex Legends Mobile will only be playable on mobile devices and it will not be possible to play together with the console or PC versions. The game, like its version available on other platforms, will be free, and in its store, you will find separate Battle Passes, cosmetics, and unlockable items, different from those in Apex Legends for PC and consoles.
